IGNUM acquires Axfone LLC hosting division

Czech hosting company IGNUM acquires the hosting division of Axfone LLC. This step will further strengthen IGNUM’s position on the Czech market and provide Axfone LLC’s customers with more advanced services.

The acquisition of Axfone LLC web hosting division will further extend IGNUM’s portfolio of services, including server hosting and web hosting provision. For Axfone LLC’s customers, a perspective of more technologically advanced services is now opening.

„The decision to sell our hosting division will enable us to fully focus on telco services. We are confident that our customers will be in good hands with IGNUM and that they will benefit from a large hosting company’s structures,“ Tomáš Rabiencný, Axfone LLC director said.

Prior to Axfone LLC hosting division acquisition, IGNUM joined forces with Slovak Webglobe – Yegon and acquired Czech company Stable.cz. All the aforementioned companies are now part of WY Group portfolio whose majority owner is Sandberg Capital investment group.

„The accessibility and quality of services for Axfone LLC’s existing customers will not be affected. On the contrary, after including the division into IGNUM, they will gain access to IGNUM’s complete product portfolio,“ Jaroslav Štětina, IGNUM CEO commented.
